Capscicum Dry Curry


Ingredients:
3 medium Green bell peppers
2 onions
1 tomato
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1-2 tsp grated dry coconut
1/4 tsp mustard seeds
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
1 sprig curry leaves
salt
oil
  • Clean and chop the bell peppers very finely.
  • Chop onions and tomato very finely.
  • Heat oil in a pan.add mustard seeds,cumin seeds,and curry leaves.
  • Add onions and fry until it starts browning.Now add capscicum,tomato,turmeric powder and saute them for few minutes on slightly high flame.
  • Now reduce the flame,cover and cook for 3 min.
  • Uncover.Add salt and mix well and cook for another 5 min on medium flame with lid on.
  • Check whether capscicum is completely cooked.Now add red chilli powder and coconut powder,mix well and cook for another 5 min.
  • Saute in between so as it get fries evenly.
  • Turn off the flame. Its slightly dry and little bit gravy.So i named it as dry curry.
  • Serve it with plain rice.
